Peppercorn Steak Sauce

Perfect to serve with your favorite cut of red meat!

Ingredients |

  • 1 tablespoon black pepper

  • 1 cup heavy cream, room temperature

  • 1/2 cup beef stock

  • 2 small shallots, finely chopped

  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic

  • 1 tablespoon salted butter

  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, add more to taste

Instructions |

  • Melt the butter in a pan over medium high heat.

  • Sauté the shallots for a few minutes until translucent.

  • Add in the minced garlic and pepper. Stir frequently so the garlic doesn’t burn.

  • Pour in the beef stock, heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce. Add the salt and stir together.

  • Let the sauce simmer on a lower heat for about 9-11 minutes until it thickens. Stir it gently.

  • Once the sauce is thick enough to stick to the back of the spoon, it is ready to be served!
