Boozy Hot Chocolate

A holiday classic!

GLUTEN FREE + DAIRY FREE

Ingredients |

  • 1 cup milk (whole or almond milk)

  • 3-4 teaspoons Hershey’s Cocoa Powder

  • 2 tablespoons white sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1.5 oz. spiced rum or bourbon

  • Lots of mini marshmallows

Instructions |

  • Pour the milk into a pot and set to medium high heat to get the milk hot. Once it starts steaming, reduce the heat to medium.

  • Add in the Hershey’s cocoa powder, sugar and vanilla extract. Mix well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes while you stir it.

  • Pour the hot chocolate into a mug and pour in your alcohol of choice.

  • Put a handful of marshmallows in & enjoy!

**Note: The reason it works better to add the alcohol at the end is to prevent it from cooking out.
